Migraine
I find acupuncture extremely effective for migraine, with most sufferers obtaining significant relief with a large reduction in the frequency of attacks.
My clinical experience is supported by the research evidence which show that acupuncture is more effective than conventional drug treatment for migraine and gives less side-effects (acupuncture actually has extremely few side-effects).1
Treatment usually involves 6-8 weekly treatments after which the gap between treatments can usually be extended. Sometimes long-term, but infrequent, treatment may be necessary to keep the migraines away.
